Rosalie's First long trip

We survived!!! The flight went ok, the only problem was on the first flight when they closed the doors to taxi the runway Rosalie had a blowout. Luckily the man sitting next to me was an understanding grandpa and didn't mind helping me out while I changed Rosalie's clothes and diaper and put everything away. She was happy the entire flight, I was really lucky. She only fussed a little when she was tired and I just put her to sleep and everything went well. The second flight she did not want to sleep or take her pacifier for the landing but she didn't seem to bothered by it.
We had a lot of fun visiting family in Rochester. We helped my grandparents celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary by having a party. Rosalie also got to meet her Great-Great Grandma, who is 92 years old. We went and had a photo shoot at Target to get all 5 generations in one photo. It was so cute. I can't wait until we get the prints, and then I can post a picture of it online. Unfortunately I'm forgetful, and I forgot to take any other pictures of Rosalie with my Great Grandma B. Oh well. I have other pictures of the entire Winert clan though. We enjoyed a fun tea party with all of the girls of the Winert family, well all of the ones that could come. It was so fun to go to the church sites at Palmyra and to see the Hill Cumorah Pageant again. I think Rosalie enjoyed herself. She was so spoiled the whole time. She was hardly ever put down. Now I need to get her accustomed to spending time out of my arms again. Also, Rosalie began sleeping through the night while we were in NY. She sleeps from about 9pm to 5am. It is fantastic. Now if only I can get her to sleep in until 6 or 7. I'm so happy. I love my little family, and my extended family. Hope you enjoy some of the pictures.

Oh my goodness, she is SO cute! We fly out to Seattle tomorrow and I'm pretty nervous about it, I hope Evie does as well as Rosalie! One of our top places we're applying to for Med school is Rochester...it sounds like it's way fun since it's close to so many places...and now I know there's a Target there, so that's good, ha. That's crazy that you guys got 5 generations in, so cool. I'm taking the Baby Whisperer book with me to finish reading...my pediatrician recommended the book Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy child and it's probably good accept for it's so long and reads like a textbook that I fall asleep every time I read it and probably won't finish it...but I'm hoping the Baby Whisperer will be better for me. This is really long so I'll stop now, but she is seriously CUTE!

OOOOHHHH! The picture of Rosalie and your parents is to die for!!! You did great Courtney. I am proud of you. I can't wait to see the 5 generation picture also. I hope to see you three this weekend for Mario's Homecoming. Karen is at girl's Camp. I am sure she can think of nothing else than hugging her boy.
Can't believe this summer is flying by! We'll look forward to seeing you. I want to hear all the stories.
Loves!
