A Very Sad Day
Today is a very sad day to me. President Hinckley has passed away. While I understand that it is a happy time for him because he gets to reunite with his wife, it still makes me sad that I will never hear him speak in conference again. I will probably remember today for a long time, President Hinckley was basically the Prophet for the majority of my life so far, many of the temples that I have gone to are because of his hard work and dedication to the church. I am so grateful for the influence he has had on my life, and for the privelage that I had to hear him speak so many times. Today is a very sad day.

Photoshop
I wish that I had photoshop. I have a simple version of it now, but I can't even turn my pictures black and white, it is so ridiculous. I can't believe that they even call it photoshop. What were they thinking? The newer one can do so many amazing and cool things like the picture below. I had a trial version of photoshop and was able to create that little diddy. I just don't feel like spending $150 to upgrade to version 6. I could really make my blog look amazing and I could make a beautiful album for us. I can't wait until the day that I get to own photoshop 6.

Just Stopping By
It has been a while. I guess I forgot that I have a blog. I sometimes wonder if anyone even reads it. I kind of doubt that they do, but that is ok because this is just a place for me to think out loud in a way and just say what is on my mind.
First of all Christmas break was just too short. It makes me sad to think we were only in Texas for 5ish days. We had an amazing time with my family, I only wish that we could have stayed longer. The drive there was crazy, I have never stayed awake for so long in my life. I felt like a zombie the entire next day. The trip back was a lot more stressful and not as exciting because it meant coming back to real life and having to face the realities of work and school. We also got a ticket in Snyder, TX which made us a little bit upset to be driving. I have decided that from now on we will not be driving, it takes entirely too long and we don't get to spend as much time with the family.
Second, I am so excited that it is my last semester at BYU. I am not the biggest fan of school, and this semester is very very very busy. I think that I am going to like some of my classes though. I am taking 18 credits and trying to work 20 hours a week. I'm taking a couple of nutrition classes, one is through the life-cycle, I really enjoy this class. I am learning all about the importance of nutrition in pregnancy right now, this way I will be prepared whenever we do get pregnant. I am also in an evolution class, I think that it is very interesting, I like the subject a lot.
Work is fun, I loved my old job, but I think that I will like this one as well. I am working for the CRA foundation (they changed their name now and I'm not sure what to call it) we do dental research and figure out what products will work best to keep your teeth sparkly new. It is different and interesting. Today we went and did a recall, which means we go and take dental impressions of a patient who is participating in one of the studies. I think I like doing that because you get to go out to an office and interact with people and it makes the day go by quickly.
Third, something exciting in my life, I'm going to Costa Rica!!!! My parents said that for graduation they are going to take us with them to Costa Rica. I can't wait. Sean and I are starting to eat healthy and go to the gym everyday to get in shape to go to Costa Rica. It is going to be amazing. I love monkeys, tropical fruit, and the beach. I really think this is the place for me. I can't wait!
Lastly, I want a baby. I think about it all the time. I am really jealous of Marci and Mike because they have a bundle of joy on the way. The thing is there are so many things that make it so that we just don't have the resources right now. Sean still has two years of school left and I have committed to working for two years at the CRA foundation. I don't want to leave a child in daycare or with a sitter for 40 hours a week, so it is just not the right time. It is so hard though because sometimes that is all that I can think about. I just can't wait until it is my turn to have a little bun in my oven!
Anyways that's enough for today, I'll get back soon and hopefully will have more exciting news!
