3 Wonderful Years

I can't believe it has been three years, it has gone so fast, and yet it seems like we have been together forever. I'm so lucky to have such an amazing man, a great husband and father to my Rosalie.

We exchanged gifts this morning because I am always so excited. Sean got me an amazing outfit I have been wanting from Banana Republic, and I got him a couple of skinny ties that he loves. We are Mad Men lovers, and totally want to dress like the show, can you tell?

I'm Grateful

Father's day nap, Sean opened his eyes just as I took this picture, the flash woke him up. Don't they look cute together?
Today I am grateful for many things.
1. I'm grateful for Sean and all the hard work he does for our little family.
2. I'm grateful for Rosalie and all the joy she brings to our lives.
3. I'm grateful for the chance I have to be a stay at home mom.
4. I'm grateful for our friends and family that helped us get everything we needed for Rosalie.
5. I'm grateful for the beautiful weather we have had for the past couple of days.
6. I'm grateful for visitors that keep me sane after hours of baby talk with Rosalie.
7. I'm grateful for my family and for how much they love my Rosalie.
8. I'm grateful for visits with Aubrey almost every morning.
9. I'm grateful for the the gym, even though it makes me really sore.
10. I'm grateful for how close the gym is so that I don't have to drive, it makes it much easier to get there.
11. I'm grateful for our little house/apartment, it is the best.
12. I'm grateful for the washer/dryer in our house so that when Rosalie has explosions I can wash them right away.
13. I'm grateful for disposable diapers, I have no idea how people do the cloth ones.
14. I'm grateful for modern medicine and how much easier it has made it to bring beautiful babies into the world.
15. I'm grateful for Sean's job offer and the peace of mind it brings in these economic times
16. I'm grateful for the Gospel and that I am a member of Heavenly Father's church.
17. I'm grateful for the temple and the blessings that it brings my family.
18. I'm grateful for the Plan of Salvation and for eternal families.
19. I'm grateful for my computer and the internet and blogs.
20. I'm grateful for cheap dates, and hanging out with Sean.
21. I'm grateful for frozen waffles and peanut butter for breakfast in a hurry.
22. I'm grateful for friends that don't mind when I disappear for a while because I'm terrible at keeping in contact.
23. I'm grateful for old tv shows that keep me entertained.
24. I'm grateful for naps.
25. I'm grateful to be alive.
26. I'm grateful for my dad (sorry I didn't post on Father's day), and I'm grateful for Sean as a dad to our little Rosalie, he is amazing!
I'm grateful for many more things, but I just can't keep listing them forever. Anyways, I just woke up this morning really happy despite the fact that Rosalie woke me up at 5:45 with an exploded diaper for the second day in a row, causing me to have to strip her down, throw everything in the wash and give her a bath before 6 a.m. She just gave me a big old smile and it made me laugh and realize how lucky I am to have all the things that I have. I really am one lucky girl!

Sean is 25

My Sean turned 25 on Easter Sunday. It was a lot of fun. We celebrated on Saturday by going out to lunch for Sushi, don't worry I only ate California Rolls which are cooked. Sushi is Sean's all time favorite food, and it is very scrumptious. We had a lot of fun hanging out together. Then we had an amazing steak dinner with his family to celebrate and he got to open all of his presents. I have become so lame lately I completely forgot to take any pictures of him with his gifts or anything. I am so lucky to have him, I'm glad he was born 25 years ago, and that I get to keep him forever. He is such a hard worker and I am proud of him, and I am excited to announce that we will be returning to Houston in fall of 2010 for him to start officially working for Ernst and Young as a tax accountant. He accepted his offer and we just can't wait to move back, it was so much fun there. Anyways, it was fun celebrating his last birthday without a baby. Now we are playing the waiting game, just hanging out and waiting for Rosalie to make her appearance. We are both really excited.

The Best 2 Years

No, I don't mean that missionary movie, I mean my last two years with
Sean. Today is our two year anniversary, wow how time flies. We have just had so much fun together and I'm so glad that I have him.

Sean is Amazing

Even though Sean didn't think we needed a dresser, he listened to my request and found me a perfect one. It looks so good in my room, it makes it seem like a real bedroom.
I thought I would get a junky one and fix it up, but the one Sean found was really nice looking and fixed up already, my favorite part are the cool knobs that it has.
He is so sweet to do this for me, I love him!!!
This weekend we also attended a quincenera after setting it up, it was very tiring. Then we celebrated a couple of cousin's birthdays and got to see Kent open his mission call, he is going to Spokane WA. We are all really excited for him.
Next up this week Sean has a trip to Houston for an office visit with EY. I am a bit upset because I will be stuck here all alone, and everyone seems to have left Provo for the summer so I have no one (that doesn't have kids and family obligations) to hang out with while he is gone, so I will be riding the bike to work because he is taking the car, and eating dinner alone. I'm really bummed. I wish that Mike and Marci, or Stephanie, or Brittany, or Aubrey were here so I could have someone to hang out with for the night.
I also am missing Ellie and M&M, I have no one to take pictures of again, I was having so much fun getting accustomed to my camera using Ellie as my model. I can't wait until you guys come back, but I bet you are having a blast in sunny CA.
I am hoping to make some more changes other than the dresser to my house, decorating is my favorite. Next on my list is to get a comforter and duvet cover that are not too heavy so that we can use a blanket but still stay cool in the summer.

Love, love, love!

I have always loved Valentine's day, even when I didn't have a Valentine. I love the color pink, and I love to get all dressed up, and I love to give out cards and candies and stuffed animals to the friends that I love. I love my family and my friends and my favorite person of all my hubby. I love that my parents always made Valentine's day special for me when I was younger, they would always give me a sweet gift like a flower (I love getting flowers) or chocolates. It always made me feel loved and important and I knew that they would always care about me. Even now that I'm married my mommy loves to send me a Valentine's day gift like candy or decorations or clothes. She is so great. I also love having my very own Valentine these days. I love the cards that Sean picks out for me, they are always clever and he writes me the best love messages. I think that is why I look forward to our anniversary and my birthday the most, because he writes down everything that he forgets to tell me about how much he loves me and cares for me and it really reminds me of how wonderful he is and how lucky I am to have him. I love when he remembers my favorite things like dove dark chocolates and diet Dr. Pepper. It was fun to get out the shower this morning and go to dry my hair in my little vanity corner and find a display of all of my favorite things left out by my sweetie. He really is so thoughtful sometimes. I seem to forget that in between the holidays. I think I need to work on remembering how wonderful he is on my birthday and valentine's day. I LOVE him soooooooo much. I Love love so much. It is so fun to be reminded about how much you are loved by your family, friends, and husband. Even if this is a stupid holiday to some people that think it is made up by halmark and the candy companies, I don't care. I am glad there is a day to remind us to love and be loved in return. All you need is love....
