Sheesh

What a difference 10 weeks can make.

Here I am at 18 weeks, thinking,"Wow I'm showing!"

Here I am at 28 weeks, thinking, "Oh my gosh I am huge." I had no idea what huge was.

And lastly, the picture from last week that I already posted, 38 weeks.

Now I know that I really am huge, I can't believe it. It just kind of sneaks up on you, you just don't realize how huge you have gotten until you line up the pictures next to each other like that. I mean, I obviously realized that my belly grew, but I guess I just didn't think about how dramatic it really was. I'm sure people who haven't seen me in months would freak out if they saw me now. If only I could just shrink right back immediately. Or hopefully very soon, everyone please pray she comes on her due date, I really really really need it, you just don't understand how much I need it.

38 Weeks

Everything is ready for Rosalie to show up, except for her. I'm 38 weeks and there is no sign of her coming early, or even on time. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Nesting and 37 Weeks

I guess I'm nesting. I'm washing everything I can that is baby stuff and trying to organize it. It is so hard doing it all when I am just going to move right after the baby is born. I wish we could be in our little house now, but at the same time it doesn't really matter when we move because it is going to be a lot of work I can't help out with anyway. So I am just washing and organizing and waiting.
Only 3 weeks left, hopefully. I really do want her on her due date because it is just the perfect day, no one in either of our families has a birthday that day. If I could show you a calendar of all of the April birthdays you would freak out, so the 18th would be the best for her so it would be special.
I had my last baby shower and it was so fun. The music was great, the decor was awesome, the food was fantastic, and it was great seeing friends and family. Linda did an awesome job with everything, it made me even more excited and prepared for the baby. Now we just have a few last minute things to get and we will be set. I'm really really excited. Here are some pictures of everything we have for the baby from clothes to bedding to strollers. Also there is a picture of my belly minus my face because no I haven't showered yet and Jessica begged me for a picture over a week ago and I just never doll myself up because I'm busy doing nothing. Enjoy. Oh, the picture of the washer and dryer is because they are my new best friends, I'm always standing next to them waiting to do the next load of baby stuff. I think I'm going crazy.

Getting too big

It seems I am almost too big to fit behind the wheel, should not have eaten so many donuts. Just kidding. I don't really eat donuts all the time, in fact I have only had them 3 times since I have been pregnant, weird. I feel huge, I hardly fit in the driver seat of the car. Luckily this is Sean's last week of his internship/me driving him to work, otherwise we could be in some serious trouble. I wouldn't be able to take him. It is funny. I'm excited to get back to Utah, but we still don't have a place, I'm going to have to continue the apartment search there, and hopefully we will have a home by April 1st. I'm anxious to get back to the Dr. and see how things are going, I know that sounds weird, especially since I hate doctor's appointment. I guess what I'm really excited for is that going back to Utah means that it is closer to April and closer to the day the baby will be born, which is very exciting!!!!

28 Weeks and Houston fun

I am getting huge. Well at least I feel like it sometimes. I'm starting to worry about how big I am really going to get. I secretly hope she stays small, it would make certain things much easier. With only 12 weeks left I am a bit nervous, I'm not sure I can do any of this, but I guess I will just have to suck it up. She is moving a lot and sometimes likes to get all up in my ribs, it feels very weird. She still doesn't make tons of huge movements. It is like I feel her moving but only every once in a while does she hit me so hard that it shocks me, I'm thinking this is a good thing though. At least I'm not getting beat up. I'm really excited to get back to Utah so that I can set up a nursery and start buying things for her. I think that is the hardest part about being in Texas right now.

Houston is great though. We are having a lot of fun. I got a job working 2-3 days a week at a doggy daycare called Pup Scouts. The puppies totally wear me out, but I am having a blast. I just wish we could get a dog ourselves. Sean doesn't want to until we get a yard, and it would probably be really hard right now with me about to have a baby too. So hopefully in a couple of years we can get a puppy. Sean is enjoying his work and really likes the diversity of the office. I think that his favorite part about Houston is the fact that he can play golf in the middle of January. He has taken the opportunity to go hit balls on several evenings. The weather is really nice lately, well not this weekend, but during the week it was sunny and warm, I love it. We went to the Rockets vs. Jazz game last week and had a really good time. We were able to park at Sean's office building for free which is a couple blocks from the Toyota center. Even though the Jazz lost we had a great time, the game was really close and we had fun cheering for the Jazz, we were probably the only ones. I definitely enjoy the games more in SLC because the crowd is way more into it. Here are some funny pictures of us from the game.Sean is eatin his yummy burger from the game and making a funny face at me, we never get serious pictures of him.Me in my cute Jazz shirt.
There is the Jazz. I could not believe how comfy the seats were at the Toyota Center, they were probably the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in at a sports venue.

22 Wks. still a tiny belly

Sean wanted me to post his lovely picture he took. Once again he is sitting down below me, so not the best angle, but my belly is definitely bigger this month. Not big, bigger than before though.

20 Weeks?

Well, we went in for our 20 week ultrasound on Wednesday and it was so fun once again to see our little girl, who is still a girl and not a boy that was hiding like some family members were hoping, haha. After taking the leg measurement the ultrasound tech started asking us our heights because the baby had little legs, then after she finished all her measurements she said they are all smaller than normal for 20 weeks and she changed my due date to April 28. Ten whole days later than my original due date. I think it is impossible. We must just be having a small baby, that would make me only 18 weeks now, and that just can't be. I was a little bit upset. Not because I will be pregnant longer, it is just that I am excited to meet her and that means I would have to wait even longer for that. Anyways, luckily I believe that baby will come when she is ready and will probably not be on any specific due date. I definitely have been feeling her move for the last two weeks and have a tiny belly which I don't think would have come any earlier because I haven't been gaining a ton of weight. I mean I was a tiny baby, so maybe I'm just having a tiny baby. Which in the end wouldn't a tiny baby make things much easier for me, I think so. At least we know that she is very healthy and everything is developing great, she is so cute so far in her little alien pictures. I will update with Thanksgiving feast pictures later.

My tiny belly

I am 18 weeks pregnant now, and this week my tiny little belly appeared. It doesn't really look pregnant, but I can no longer suck it in to make it look flat. It is weird. Sean was sitting when he took this picture of me, and I made an awful face, but he has a short attention span and I can only get him to take one at a time for me, silly boy.

It's a .....

GIRL!!!!!
We are so excited to meet this little one, she was very funny to watch during the ultrasound, she did not want to turn and let us see her, I had to poke her pretty hard and she jumped it was hilarious to watch. I can't believe it. Sean still seems to beilieve that it is a boy, he thinks that they were wrong at the ultrasound place, so we will see in a month when the doctor does one. For now, here are some photos of her first photos...

This is how she started out, and she did not want to move from this position.
proof that it's a girl!!!

her cute profile, I don't know why the computer turned it sideways though.

Still not showing

I am 14 weeks and still not showing, hopefully that means that I won't get monstrously huge. Here are some pictures for proof. Bear in mind that I took them myself so they aren't from that far away. I am a little excited to have a belly though, Sean likes to say that the reason I'm not showing is because I'm faking being pregnant, haha. Like I could fake those things.

Baby Beat

We got to hear the baby's heartbeat at my appointment last week. It was cool. Sean's questions was if the baby is on speed or something because the heartbeat is so fast, the Dr. told him it is normal but he still thinks the baby is on something. Silly Sean. I just thought neato, until later that day I had a belated reaction where I got really excited when I realized that that means baby is actually there and doing well. I've been worried because I am crazy, so it was really reassuring. I can't wait until we can find out if it is a boy or a girl. I will let everyone know when we actually find out.

Very Exciting

So I thought I would wait a while to make this announcement, but I give up. I don't have a fun ultrasound picture to show yet, but I am pregnant!!!!!!!!! We are very excited, I am due April 18 and am 10 weeks along tomorrow. I already had to break the news at work so I figure I might as well spill the beans on my blog. I know some of my friends already know, but now it is official. I wish I had a cool picture to show you, but I look exactly the same and I don't have an ultrasound yet. Things are going great so far, I haven't been really sick, only once have I experienced true morning sickness. I don't think my baby likes tomato soup, or sweets for that matter, they make me so nauseous. I am trying to exercise, but for the last week and a half I have been really tired and my tail bone hurts when I run so I've been taking it easy. I just want to be healthy so that baby is healthy too. I guess I will have more news to talk about for the next few months.
