Christmas was soooooo much fun. I would post pictures but I just don't have the time right now with our moving preparations. We pack up the storage unit tomorrow and head to H-town either Tuesday or Wednesday.
First off let me tell you about Christmas. We went to this amazing cabin at Beaver Creek, the first day was beautiful and sunny. There was tons of snow but it was too powdery for me to build my first ever snowman, sad huh? But we spent the day with everyone playing in the snow with their sleds and making snow angels. Then we had Christmas eve dinner and opened our pjs and spent time with all of Sean's cousins, aunts, uncles etc. It was great. On Christmas morning we were determined to sleep in, but since some of the group were sick and woke up coughing really early in the morning we all decided to get up and open gifts at around 8 am. Sean and I got lots of neat stuff for us, and some stuff for our little baby from family. It was really great, I enjoy watching people open gifts, it is my favorite, especially if they like what I got them. Christmas day it dumped the most snow I have ever seen in my entire life. It was a blizzard, there was no letting up, so our plan to go snowmobiling didn't work out. However, we had a blast hanging out inside with everyone. We had a brunch that was spectacular, then a fun white elephant gift trading with all of the cousins, and then ended the day with a scrumptious feast and talent show. It was one of the most fun family reunion Christmas things we ever went to.

Now we are back at home and finished packing the last few boxes and deciding what to take with us to Houston. We are nervous and excited about the big move, Sean is anxious about his work he will be doing but I think he will do great. It is going to be a fun adventure for the next few months, wish us luck on our long drive! I will hopefully be able to blog when we get there, but first they will have to connect the internet, so who knows how long that will take.

the cabin was a blast, wasn't it?? so glad we could share the break with you guys...i can't believe you're gone already!! sorry we didn't get a chance to say goodbye....be safe- and enjoy houston!!! we'll miss you while you're away...but can't wait till you come back so you can finally make me an AUNT! (well, i mean, technically i am one...but i inherited that role by marriage). anyways, love you!
I totally try NOT to think about how far away you are. I tell myself that you are in Provo... doing school and working . It makes it easier!
It was good to hear your voice today. The Apt. will seem more and more like a PARTY as you begin to have positive experiences. Promise!
Just treat it like a BIG Slumber Party. Take pictures so one day you can tell your children how hard you worked for what they have!
Christmas was an unforgettable. I will look forward to many more good times in the near future. The next BIG things: Meeting Baby Rose! Can't wait. Try to have FUN in spite of the obstacles. These are your last months together just the two of you! Pretty soon everything will change. It's wonderful, but still, cherish these months!
We love you both! Sean, we'll pray for your 1st day tomorrow to be awesome.
